CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The public can participate in creative projects either within the Ballastières or directly within schools, in social living spaces, or even in nursing homes.

Access to culture should not be hindered by distance or financial cost. "Working together" through the development of partnerships within the community is the key to eliminating inequalities.

Meetings with artists as part of residencies

The presence of artistic teams at Ballastières during short-term residencies is a privilege that allows for encounters and cultural exchanges with the local residents.

Educational activities for schoolchildren

We are developing close relationships with educational institutions in our area in order to offer short-term artistic discovery workshops.

Long-term creative residency

The Ballast Collective plays the role of initiator in the construction of creative projects with residents and artistic teams within the framework of long-term residencies in the territory.

Participatory actions during events

Allowing the public to be either an active audience, with interactive shows, or to participate in workshops offered by the artistic teams.
